Hi, I’m Sheila Wen
I’m an industrial / product designer studying at ArtCenter College of Design in California.
I’m interested in how quiet objects can still change the way people move, work, and rest. A lot of my projects start from small, ordinary moments—cleaning up after a trip, sitting at a desk too long, getting ready in the morning—and then ask what could feel calmer, smarter, or more honest.
I like designs that don’t shout for attention at first glance, but stay in your mind after you’ve lived with them for a while.
What Drives Me
I’m most motivated when I’m learning through making. I enjoy the process of moving quickly from idea to prototype, testing assumptions, and letting real observations transform the direction of the work.
Craft matters to me—not in a decorative sense, but in how precision, materials, and intent come together to form something intuitive and durable.
